Bondi Beach massacre: 15 Jews were gunned down by Islamists in broad daylight yesterday whilst celebrating Hanukkah (a Jewish holiday which is celebrated in a similar way to Christmas), including a 10-year-old girl and a Holocaust survivor.

Is it time yet to rethink your position of hatred towards Israel?

As I write this, my heart is filled with grief and compassion for the families involved, but still it needs to be said: are you ready to take a look at the real reasons for why incidents like this are happening - and escalating - around the world?

Let’s take a look - and by the end of this post I’ll also share with you a precise 5-point solution plan to resolve the whole Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Sydney: A Great Cultural Melting Pot?

My uncle in Sydney used to say 20 years ago that Sydney was one of the world’s greatest and most successful cultural melting pots. But that was then, and this is now. So, what went wrong?

Like everyone, I’m in utter shock - having walked along that sea front myself, and knowing that this is an iconic central cultural outdoor spot for families in one of the supposedly most “free” and “civilised” countries in the world. Is that what the “Free World” has come to?

The incident took place in Archer Park, a grassy area overlooking Bondi Beach which has a children’s playground and is a well-known spot for barbecues and picnics.

The Same Sydney Where That Massive March Took Place

Let’s think about what the permission structures for violence are, which are being promoted in the mainstream.

In this case, only barely 3 months ago, on 3rd August 2025, up to 300,000 people (according to the organisers) marched in Sydney in misdirected anti-Semitic rage against Israel. You’ll remember it, I’m sure.

You may protest that these things are not connected, but they are.

As George Orwell famously showed, in the Two Minutes Hate in his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, one of the principal purposes of the mainstream media is clear: It is to inform you what the acceptable and encouraged targets for your suppressed anger are; in other words, the permission structures for anger and violence.

Currently, as it was also in 1930s Germany and Austria, an acceptable and heavily promoted Orwellian target for popular anger, we are regularly being conditioned to think, is Israel and, by extension, Jews.

Was It An Antisemitic March?

Of course, mainstream sources will constantly but falsely claim that it’s all just about Israel and not Jews, but at the end of the day, as the location of yesterday’s massacre in the same city as the massive anti-Israeli march 3 months ago shows plainly, that’s a clever example of “doublespeak” - to quote Orwell.

Okay, so. . . you don’t need me to say this, because you already know it: Just because it has become trendy to express anger about a particular national group, does not make it right, or “justified” - or constructive in any way; yet sometimes it seems like nobody has even reflected on the events of World War II, even in spite of their familiarity to everyone.

Here in England, almost everyone I know is WRONGLY inflamed with anger towards Israel, Israelis and Jews. And yes, the three get conflated, no matter who tries to pretend that they don’t.

Intentionality Is Real - And Words Do Break Bones!

There is a direct line that links:

1. The hateful intentions you hold in your mind (see Professor William A Tiller’s research on intentionality using random event generator machines);

2. The expressions and sharing of that anger through constant social media posts hating on Israel and sharing “Free Palestine” memes and hanging Palestinian flags on public buildings;

3. 300,000 people marching on Sydney Harbour Bridge against Israel;

4. Barely 3 months later, this massacre of Jews at a family picnic spot just down the road in the same city.

If I did not speak out as I am doing here, then it would be like I lacked the moral courage of Charlie Chaplin when (as you will have seen if you ever watched the biopic about him, “Chaplin”) he was portrayed at a 1930s party in Hollywood speaking out bravely against a studio executive making antisemitic remarks to a group of people.

So When is Hatred Justified?

Jesus Christ already said it over 2000 years ago, and so did the Buddha and Krishna before that - and every authentic sage ever since: There is NO justification for holding hatred in your heart, or whipping it up in your life, or in others.

All hatred is also, as Krishna taught, simply the product of illusion.

A massacre like this is a stark signal that it is time for humanity, collectively, to rise up out of the state of illusion within the human heart that generates hatred.

I know that to some my words here may seem strange, but. . . think about it, and tell me where these words are wrong.

As long as 300,000 are ready to march in such a cause, this situation could get worse, and then, as it escalates, one day you might awaken as though from a dream and wonder why YOU supported and marched for such a cause, having failed to pause a moment in order to reflect on the nature of the cause you are supporting.

And will you really be able to say (like many Nazi collaborators had to say in the post-war years) that you were justified in going along with the zeitgeist of the times just because of peer pressure - or, worse, because you drank the herd juice and really believed it all without even properly thinking it through?

What happened to being your own man or woman, and thinking for yourself?

And what happened to critical thinking, discussion and debate?

How To Think For Yourself

Thinking for yourself isn’t so difficult as it sounds - and you will sleep easier at night.

I’ll share a quick, heart-warming anecdote to show how easy it really is. . .

I remember a teacher at school who told us one day in class that he had just been at a meeting at which all of the staff of the school were present and had to vote on something important (he never did tell us what it was!), and he had found himself with the only hand in the air as he looked round - but he told us that he proudly kept his hand in the air nevertheless.

As he told us this, we could all see that he was feeling jubilant.

Why? Because, as Truth-Loving Fred always likes to say, standing up for the truth makes us stronger, even if it means going against the crowd.

That teacher set a good example for us. Indeed, this is one of the key aspects of what “education” should surely be about: helping people to think for themselves - and not allow themselves to get caught up unthinkingly in trends like the current anti-Israeli fervour doing the rounds.

So What is Anti-Zionism, Really?

Oh but wait, I can imagine some people saying to me in reply, the march in Sydney wasn’t against Jews - or Israel! It was only against Zionism.

Zionists, I am regularly told, are the cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and need to be stopped - and furthermore kicked out of the Middle East.

Ahem.

Actually, the word “Zion” just means “Jerusalem” and, customarily, “Israel”.

“Zionism” is just a reference to the state of Israel existing as a country, since its modern re-founding in 1948.

To eradicate Zionism, as the Palestinian movement seeks to do, means to eradicate the country of Israel.

By comparison, if we said there was such a thing as “Americanism”, and if we then constructed a fake narrative to blame it for something, and then called for the eradication of “Americanists”, this would mean the eradication of the USA as a country - and the forced eviction or killing of all Americans living in the USA. We could also claim, in this ridiculous fake narrative, that the reason for it is that the Americans are occupying Native American or Mexican land (take your pick), and that is why they must leave and have no country any more.

And if we did all of that and then, in the same breath, said “This is not Anti-American”, then clearly that would be an incorrect (= untrue!) statement.

And if, in the name of supporting this narrative, 300,000 people marched in Sydney and then just 3 months later 15 Americans were gunned down in the same city by “anti-Americanists”, would YOU think these things are all connected or unconnected?

Think about it. It’s pretty obvious, really.

So if you march in support of a group (the Palestinian cause) which is calling for the violent eradication of the whole of a nation (Israel) both in writing (the Palestinian National Charter) and in its popular slogans and demands, how can you claim that is not against that nation and ethnic group? That sounds again like doublespeak to me (thank you, George Orwell; you have helped us all make better sense of the modern world!)

As Lucy Tabrizi has eloquently summarised: “Anti-Zionism is a hate movement that weaponises Palestinian suffering to fuel Jew-hatred.”

The evidence for this is everywhere to be seen:

Most strangely of all, there are no 300,000 people marching in Sydney - at any time - against China’s occupation of Tibet, or against any other national group’s violent behaviour against any other ethnic group (take your pick).

So clearly it is not the behaviour of any national group that is the concern; it is specifically only ONE national group to which the permission structures of violence and hatred are continuously flowing.

A globalised déjà vu of the 1930s, anyone? Anyone??

But Then How Can We Help the Palestinians?

At the end of this post I will share a precise 5-step solution to help the Palestinians (i.e., the people who used to be called Palestinian Arabs).

. . . AND to help the Israeli Jews too (i.e., the people who used to be called Palestinian Jews) - not that you asked about their welfare.

But there is a preliminary step required before that.

To help the Palestinians (if that is REALLY your aim?), the first step is (unlike almost everyone I see in Britain and Ireland right now) to take a step back and stop supporting the global Palestinian Cause which is not serving the best interests of the Palestinian people - because it is a narrative of hatred and untruths which is perpetuating conflict and violence rather than resolving anything. And like many violent information fields all through history, it’s a self-perpetuating cycle of violence.

So why march and wave flags in support of it? That’s the very first thing to look at.

If you pause to reflect on it, you know it and I know it and we all know it: Hatred is not the way to resolve any conflict - and nor is holding a country (Israel) hostage to terrorist demands to hand over the whole of their own state to a neighbouring people (which is exactly what the Palestinian National Charter is asking for) - and nor is marching on Sydney Harbour Bridge in support of those demands.

What About the Tibetans or the Kurds?

By comparison, are Tibetans, in demanding a state, holding China hostage to terrorist demands legitimised by up to 300,000 marchers in Sydney? No.

And by the way, is the Dalai Lama himself urging them to do so? No. Is the Dalai Lama even urging his Tibetan people to fight for an independent state? No. I’m writing a forthcoming article about why - and what implications the Tibetan question may have for Palestinians.

And yet I don’t see any Sydney marches for Tibetans.

And in asking that, I’m not equating these causes - or any other causes mentioned below - because each is entirely unique. The only thing that unites all the causes I’m mentioning here and below is that they are all ethnic groups which have a separatist movement.

What about the Kurds, then? Are the Kurds holding Turkey hostage to terrorist demands legitimised by 300,000 people marching on the streets of Sydney? And then are some Kurdish extremists gunning down Turks at a picnic site in Sydney, and then using doublespeak to declare “we’re not anti-Turkish”?

Or are such things happening in Sydney in the name of the Catalans or the Basques in Spain?

Or are such things happening in Sydney in the name of the Tamils of Sri Lanka?

Or are such things happening in Sydney in the name of the Uighurs of China?

Or are such things happening in Sydney in the name of the Igbo people of Nigeria?

And the list goes on. . . You get my point. (And I am of course saying that NO violence is justified or should take place in Sydney or elsewhere about any of these causes!)

So why aren’t those marches happening?

It’s not because those other ethnic groups are suffering less. Some are suffering more. Some are even in concentration camps.

It’s because the media has conditioned you with permission structures for violence and hatred which flow only towards the targets it tells you (as per George Orwell) that you should focus on, and that means:

• Towards Israel YES

• But towards all other countries, ethnic groups and regions NO

The Solution

The solution, which is surprisingly simple, is five-fold:

1. Take back your anger from those permission structures, and re-own it in your own heart, where it came from.

2. Apply the same standards to all peoples and nations - don’t apply a special set of standards to Israel and Jews which does not apply to anyone else.

3. Support those who, like me, are engaging in in-depth compassionate dialogue to understand and resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict without hatred and with a drive for peaceful, humanitarian resolution for all parties involved.

4. Look at separatist movements globally - with other examples such as the Tibetans - and see what great spiritual leaders like the Dalai Lama are saying about those other cases and why.

5. Refer to your chosen spiritual tradition (Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, other) to find a spiritual resolution to the hatred in your heart - namely, through practices such as love, devotion and the transcending of illusions.

You’ll notice that none of these 5 steps involves any slogans, clichés, memes, street marches or flag-waving.

You’ll also notice that this is NOT a call to bury your passion; passion is wonderful if directed creatively, and if passion flows towards constructive purpose like that embodied by the 5 steps above, then anger and hatred evaporate in favour of devotional, humanitarian, loving passion.

I am not asking you to suppress your anger; I am asking you to transmute it into a higher humanitarian vision in which it becomes com-passion; that is, together-passion, or in other words passion for all of humanity.

Elizabeth Warren, referring of course to Donald Trump, says: “The American people do not bow down to Kings.”

My thought for the week: These rallies are, as Ben Shapiro explains below, based on a fake, hypocritical supposition, and, further, are an example of what I call Reversalism.

That is, how people all over the world (and especially, at present, those on the far left, although it happens at both political extremes) are tending to falsely project their own failings (in this case, over-centralisation of power) onto their perceived enemies.

Once Reversalism is understood, as a psychological phenomenon, it not only helps us to understand the world better, but it also specifically unveils the impetus behind a lot of misguided protest movements of many stripes – ranging from protests about Trump to ones about Israel, or to anyone just railing against the West in general – because they tend to have this in common.

The Guardian says: “The aspiration of No Kings... is... to rebuild, perhaps a little sturdier and more honest this time, the kind of constitutional system in which law and persuasion replace Trump’s model of violence and domination.”

Ben Shapiro responded this week with a characteristically brilliant tirade:

One of the most amusing things about these “No Kings” rallies is the supposition by the Left that somehow they are opposed to grand expansions of executive power...

I’m old enough to remember Joe Biden who tried to use the Occupational Safety and Health Organization in order to cram down vaccine mandates on 80 million Americans and we had to sue* to stop him!

The idea that that somehow people who are opposed to Donald Trump are not opposed to him because of specific policies but based on a sort of broader rubric of anti-executive power is just ridiculous.

It is the Democratic party in the United States which, writ large, has expanded the power of the executive branch wholesale over the course of the last century since the Progressive Era... The idea that they want to delegate power back to the states, or that they want to delegate power back to Congress, is a lie... The very premise of these No Kings rallies is just silly.

*The above-mentioned lawsuit is a true story of people power (spearheaded bravely by Ben Shapiro in this case – which is one of the reasons he first called my attention and respect) fighting against an actual tyranny-leaning government through a private corporation suing the United Stated federal government a few years ago under Biden.

I say “actual” because, as he explains above, there were 80 million evidential reasons to say so.

It’s such an interesting example of tyranny run amok in the modern world, that it’s worth a closer look at some of the details.

First, it’s notable that although similar Covid-related mandates were in vogue in many countries around the world, the USA as the so-called “leader of the free world” was a surprising addition to that list.

It came to pass in November 2021 when, initiated by the Biden administration, the U.S. federal government introduced an “Emergency Temporary Standard” (ETS) that would require private employers with 100 or more employees to require their employees either to be vaccinated or to submit to weekly testing and various other requirements.

This would, indeed, have impacted about 80 million employees, by their own statement.

Next, Ben Shapiro’s private media company, The Daily Wire, itself one of the most successful alternative news networks in the world, was one of the earliest petitioners who spearheaded what later snowballed into a massive legal resistance effort spanning dozens of suits, including other private corporations, alongside state governments, trade organisations, business coalitions, and religious and advocacy groups.

Ben was especially outspoken and public on the issue, and showed both courage and leadership in making it happen.

Kudos to him. To me it demonstrates that not only is he unusually good at logical thought, but also he shows valour by being one of the few to step up at such a time.

The Supreme Court, sure enough, within 2 months shot down the original ETS, by issuing a “stay”. The Court explained that the federal government did not have the authority to issue sweeping public health vaccination mandates across the private sector, and that it was exceeding its statutory bounds.

The mandate never, then, came into effect. So, in short, the case was won by the petitioners, who rightly observed that the original mandate had been unconstitutional.

Thanks goodness the USA, at least, has a constitution based on humanitarian values!

Yet why, then, in spite of such clear examples of how Biden’s government, not Trump’s, was the one leaning towards tyranny, do many people still wrongly believe that it’s the other way around?

Strangely – in another feature of Reversalism – many people fail to analyse such factual information logically, and instead allow the mass media to condition their subconscious into thinking that Biden’s government was a “liberal, progressive” one, and certainly not tyrannical, while it is now Trump’s government which is the tyrannical one.

Surely, though, the mandate example above was a clear example of “violence and domination” of a national government over its people. And yet why did The Guardian instead reverse things and project those words now onto the opposition? And why do many credulous people believe such things?

It’s a curious feature of human psychology that, no matter the facts, if people are repeatedly told that the sky is green and the grass is blue, they will soon start believing it.

That is, if they have never learned the skills of true critical thinking and living systems science.

What is the psychology behind it?

I can see two interrelated mechanisms at play.

First, it’s like there’s a switch in the human brain that goes off, whispering into your inner ear a message which goes: “Everybody seems to think that the sky is green and the grass is blue, so that must be the case.”

Ancestrally, I speculate that it must have been a useful mental function in those days for people to have a finely-tuned mechanism for sensing what the tribe’s consensus was on any given topic, as a source of truth.

Nowadays that makes people ripe for manipulation by the mainstream media and government, but back when most people were illiterate and uneducated this mechanism would have been an effective survival tool during rough times – and a way to help a tribe stick together through thick and thin.

Secondly, there is its psychological cousin known as “the fallacy of the appeal to authority” – that is, namely:

“What are my betters, the ‘experts’, saying? – that must be what’s true…”

When people place their faith so unquestioningly in pronouncements of politicians, journalists, doctors and scientists, they don’t stop to think that it’s an impulse that most likely originates deep within the infantile part of the human brain, that can be traced back to an ancestral behaviour pattern of hungry peasants bowing down in the mud to their superiors.

Nowadays, however, these behaviour patterns should surely be regarded as infantile remnants of the ancestral human brain, which we should consciously strive (through active study) to overcome!

Who wants to behave any more like a hungry peasant bowing down in the mud to his or her superiors?

The left-wing, war-critical Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid spoke at a special session in Jerusalem on Monday, which Trump attended, and said:

“I am the leader of the opposition. And I tell you: You were deceived. Propaganda experts, funded by terror money, manipulated you. Now that the war has stopped, you have time and a chance to go and learn the facts. The truth is: there was no genocide, no intentional starvation.”

Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib (Palestinian activist):

“Hamas is a cancer, which is unfortunately supported by the fraudulent “pro-Palestine” movement that doesn’t care about Gazans.

“Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and a whole host of so-called “human rights organizations” have said absolutely nothing about Hamas, a terrorist Islamist deadly entity, executing, torturing, & killing the Palestinian people of Gaza since the ceasefire. Absolute frauds!

“Daily torture, killings, executions, disappearances, kidnappings, interrogations, and intimidation continue across the Gaza Strip at the hands of Hamas terrorists who are reasserting their presence in the coastal enclave and seeking to eliminate any competition to their rule.

“Hamas is looking for the bodies of Israeli hostages in Gaza by digging for tunnels that it placed under an entire residential city where there were thousands of apartments. This is under the Qatari-built Hamad City in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Hamas gave itself the right to use every inch of the Strip as a theater for its horrendous terrorism, placing its operatives and infrastructure under homes, hospitals, schools, and every imaginable space. This isn’t just Israeli propaganda - this is the absolute, shitty, unpleasant, and brutal truth that all Gazans know and understand, but is somehow refuted by “activists” and “journalists” who run cover for Hamas.”

Ben Shapiro (American journalist, podcaster and founder of The Daily Wire):

“It’s not enough to call out the violence. Calling out the rhetorical and ideological permission structures for violence - that’s the thing that needs to happen.”

A few thoughts of mine about Ben’s comment above:

The context is that he was referring to a multitude of global trends which have included murders of people such as Charlie Kirk, the attempted assassinations of Trump last year, various random assassinations of Jews in different countries, and so on, and above all the many people CALLING for such violence and/or CELEBRATING it!

This opens out a larger subject – on which Ben is very articulate, and speaks about often, but about which I will only very briefly summarise here:

I have heard nobody else comment using this language about “permission structures”, but I consider that it is a point VERY well-made, and, as you will have seen if you have read any of my previous posts, I see the world as being run mainly by IDEOLOGIES or INFORMATION FIELDS.

So it is surely of the utmost importance to call out and identify those which are deficient, destructive, deceitful and malevolent narratives, and replace them with more Truth-Loving ones that are characterised by a broader context of vision, and by humanitarian values.

That is, in short, the best way to reduce the wars, deaths and misery in the world.

It is also, in my view, the main and most important type of activism: the power of the Word, and the power of the Conversation.

An ex-girlfriend of mine takes a different view; she believes that ‘activism’ means getting angry, waving banners and expressing disdain for those in power. Sometimes I wonder how we came to be in a relationship together in the past, given that our respective approaches to life have since diverged so much! To me, spitting in the face of whoever holds the reins of power is not real activism at all, but is a form of catharsis for angry people, peppered by psychological projection of one’s own inner shadow onto external targets of blame.

To me (and this is something I commend Charlie Kirk for, as he believed the same), true activism is when we each do our bit to help develop and expand the collective Conversation. Everything else is downstream from that.

And you will notice (which is key) that I am not referring to the promulgation of any particular points of view – but to the development of the Conversation itself. Like a dance which moves through different steps and phases, the Collective Conversation of Humanity is a never-ending, evolving phenomenon – including on my ‘lips’ and on everybody else’s!

“Many of the anti-Israel arguments are, at best, driven by emotions which are understandable but irreconcilable with the facts, and, at worst, deliberate manipulations designed to weaponise our natural horror at seeing the realities of war.

“The Trump plan is a roadmap to peace which delivers every single anti-war and pro-peace objective.

“To my complete lack of surprise, however, many of the most prominent campaigners against genocide, who have graced our airwaves for the last 2 years, have either stayed silent or openly called for Hamas to reject the deal.

“Far from being genocide, it’s a war. The overwhelming majority of those demanding an end to the so-called genocide in Gaza do not believe it is one themselves, as demonstrated by their unwillingness to pressure Hamas to accept a deal that would end it. This is a war. Their side is losing and they’re using the suffering of Palestinian civilians, human shields placed in harm’s way by Hamas, to generate clicks, likes and views.”

“There were a bunch of protests that took place all over the world in favour of Hamas, AS the President was trying to negotiate a ceasefire.

“You’ve seen no advocates for the Palestinians abroad celebrating President Trump’s ceasefire. None. Zero. They don’t exist. They all disappeared.

“Now I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard of a genocide in world history in which the supposed victims of a genocide don’t celebrate when it ends. That’s kind of telling, is it not? Shouldn’t there be hundreds of thousands of these people in the streets celebrating Donald Trump - for ending the war, for getting to a ceasefire, for stopping the carnage? But they’re not.

“Where are they? Why did they disappear? Because they didn’t give a **** the entire time about the Palestinians. They didn’t care about them at all. It was all just a weapon against Israel. Because if they were truly concerned about the cost of war, they would be happy when it ends. Instead they were protesting for the war to effectively continue on October the 7th.”

Realign for Palestine (RFP) (a Palestinian advocacy group):

“Those who are displaying signs of antisemitism in response to what’s happening in Gaza are not the allies of the Palestinian people.

“It is essential to have a Palestinian-led movement that’s centrist and moderate. I believe these values are central to Islam and are exemplified in the Quran... ‘So, we have made you believers an upright community... A temperate/middle-ground nation.’ Peacemakers amid conflict are the courageous and essential leaders of our community.

“Regional and international priorities are shifting; no one invests in instability. A credible, stable, forward-looking Palestinian vision will be essential to earn meaningful investment and support.

“The world is moving on from the Palestinian issue. Arab countries have their own needs. They cannot pour endless resources into this. We have to show a serious commitment to peace and a desire to be an economically and politically viable country, before the world is going to seriously invest in us.

“For Realign for Palestine, these proposals [Trump’s peace plan] affirm the pragmatic policies we have long advanced: demilitarization, leadership reform, policies that protect Israel’s security and ensure Palestinian rights and freedoms.”

Last but not least, Trump delivered a brilliant and historic speech at the Knesset in Jerusalem on Monday, which I will describe in more detail further below.

This is the most exciting part of this post, in my view! His speech left me feeling overjoyed.

Here are some key extracts from it that I liked:

“All over the world, people are dancing in the streets.

“Let me convey my tremendous appreciation for all of the nations of the Arab and Muslim world that came together to press Hamas to set the hostages free and to send them home. We had a lot of help, from a lot of people that you wouldn’t suspect. And I want to thank them very much for that.

“It’s an incredible triumph for Israel and the world to have all of these nations working together as partners in peace, and it’s pretty unusual for you to see that, but it happened in this case. This was a very unusual point in time. A brilliant point of time.

“Generations from now, this will be remembered as the moment that everything began to change, and change very much for the better. Like the USA right now, it will be the golden age of Israel, and the golden age of the Middle East, which is going to work together.

“When you settle 8 wars in 8 months, that means you don’t like war. Everyone thought I was going to be brutal. In fact, I remember Hilary Clinton during a debate said: ‘Look at him, look at him, he’s going to go to war with everybody!’ And she said: ‘He’s got a personality that’s all about war!’ No, my personality actually is all about STOPPING wars. It’s called Peace Through Strength.

“This is the end of the Age of Terror and Death, and the beginning of the Age of Faith, and Hope, and God. It’s the start of a Grand Concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region.

“This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.

“I love Israel. I’m with you all the way. You will be bigger, better, stronger and more loving than ever before. Thank you very much. God bless you. God bless the United States of America. And God bless the Middle East.”

Now, a few words from me about the broader context:

Trump attended a special session in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) in Jerusalem on Monday which marked the (probable, or very near) end of the latest 2-year Gaza-Israel War.

This might be one of the most astonishingly positive end-of-war moments in all of history, because, with it, the session also marks a transition between two eras – with what is possibly the end (or at least the beginning of the end) of what is probably the world’s most long-standing and intractable conflict (the Palestinian-Israeli one) – and the beginning of the grand expansion of a plan for peace (the Abraham Accords) for the whole of the Middle East, with UNPRECEDENTED SUPPORT for all of it from almost the entire Arab world – INCREDIBLY!

How did such an implausible thing happen – where even Qatar and Turkey (the last remaining core supporters of the Gazan totalitarian regime of Hamas left standing) are on board with the proceedings, and seem to want to be on this train along with the rest?

Trump has, with his team, been the mastermind behind these negotiations. They have been touring the world pressing all the right levers, offering all the right incentives, and effectively FINDING WAYS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

How he achieved this will, I expect, be one of the things that will be studied by many people for a long time to come – and will also (I predict) become a lesson for people in the future wishing to learn how to become better negotiators! I have so far heard tons of theories, many of which are no doubt among the numerous pieces of this intricate jigsaw puzzle of emerging global peace amongst nations.

The location of the Knesset is less than 2 miles away from the holiest place in Jewish memory – where Jews traditionally believed that God created the world – and which is also where Muslims go to on pilgrimage to the Dome of the Rock – and where Jesus Christ once upturned the tables in the ancient Jewish Temple and spoke truth to power to the corrupt holy men of his day – and where the symbol of Jerusalem (also referred to as ‘Zion’) has endured through thousands of years, and, perhaps most importantly of all for the modern world, became the cradle of modern civilisation through the birth of the ideas of modern ethics, freedoms, rights and social responsibilities.

Here, Trump gave a talk of over an hour which, frankly, is one of the most interesting talks you could ever listen to, for many reasons (including due to its colourful and varied cascade of entertaining moments, personal anecdotes and strongly-expressed views on many things – including some that you might or might not agree with).

And so I heartily recommend listening to all of it, even if only to feel the vibe of this moment in history.

It’s notable that in Trump’s speech he spends a fair bit of time crediting the various people he has been working with to make this happen, and he goes into depth on what they have each brought to the table. This includes Steve Witkoff, Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner, Israeli PM Netanyahu and others.

As for me, when I heard Trump’s Knesset speech, I felt it in my heart, and if you listen to it you may feel it too: a wave of joy rippling through the world.

It’s not in any of the specifics (even though the words and tone of voice do reflect or make frequent reference to things such as peace, love, freedom and various other higher universal values), but is, rather, in the mood of the moment, and in the collective consciousness. For what it’s worth, I feel it, and I credit my intuitive powers as being stronger than average, for such things.

That is: something extraordinary is taking place in the world.

It is, indeed, the dawn of a golden age, and I know it most of all because I feel it in the core of my being, and if you tune in to your being you might feel it too.

This is the moment where – collectively – we start to see this golden future come out into the light where more people start to notice it taking shape.

It is fitting that Jerusalem has become the place where, at this particular moment, all these energies aligned – both because it has been the focus of such an intractable conflict, and because (as described above) of its past role as the cradle of modern civilisation and higher humanitarian values.

As you may have noticed, I have been writing a lot about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in my recent posts, and now I see all the more clearly why I have felt the calling to write about this topic.

It represents the culmination or apex – in the world today – not only of understanding how propaganda works and how mainstream narratives often deceive us (which are important lessons for us all on the road to becoming Truth-Lovers!), but also of the very real fight that is taking place in the world between those who love freedom, and those who seek to tear it down.

Namely, those (like the Christians and Jews believe) who see themselves in service of God, and of the higher values of Freedom (yes, the Free Will of every individual person is, after all, a central tenet of the Judaeo-Christian heritage!) and Love (ditto!). . .

. . . versus the forces of destruction and tyranny who, out of their own ignorance, either seek to control everything in an inherently unstable web of mass surveillance and overbearing bureaucracy, or else seek simply to kill or break things. (I’m reminded of that wonderful symbol of it – perhaps one of the greatest antagonists conceived of – in the fantasy film ‘The Never-Ending Story’: a great dark cloud of nothingness that is spreading over the whole Universe and seeks only to demolish whatever it touches, and whose name is, aptly, “The Nothing”).

The former (God, Freedom, Love) have formed the basis for what we call Western civilisation, while the latter (ignorance, tyranny, breaking things, tearing things down) are taking form in today’s world in those who seek to express hatred - a hatred of many things, but most especially of the West.

Let’s celebrate, then, the rising of the ‘Lion’: the emergence of peace, love, courage, truth, cooperation, humanism and above all freedom in the world today, and in the future into which we are rapidly moving.

That does not mean that the fighting is over, or that it won’t be a rocky road – I expect it will be.

But still we can see that the sun is rising (metaphorically speaking) on this world. And about time too.

It’s an exciting and uplifting time to be alive.
